Great hosts… House was very clean and has a very homely feeling. We enjoyed the communal area with the fire… very comfortable. With 6 of us the amount of space felt quite luxurious… The kitchen is very well equipped… Lots to do in the local area. I would particularly recommend the Parc de la Prehistoire, and the cave paintings at Niaux.
A lovely place to stay, and Deborah and Jon are great hosts, friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful before and throughout our stay, while giving us our own space.
The... read more gite is as described, and pictured. We felt at home there straight away; it was very comfortable. With 6 of us the amount of space felt quite luxurious, and the children loved having their own rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, and easily able to cater for 12. The kitchen table is a good size too. There is limited comfy seating (two sofas and an armchair).
We enjoyed eating at the picnic tables in the garden, and made use of the rest of the garden too - it is bigger that I'd appreciated from the photos, and the children enjoyed the hammock, climbing frame, and some of the outdoor toys. (There was also a sandpit and trampoline.). The table football was well used too.
Lots to do in the local area. I would particularly recommend the Parc de la Prehistoire, and the cave paintings at Niaux - book in advance for the latter.
We always knew what time it was from the chimes of the neighbouring church - some of our group wished for a mute button, others rather liked it.
A great holiday, thank you.

If you're taking a large group or just a few friends this is definitely worth considering.
