Ideal for activity holidays and family groups we have plenty of space and excellent facilities here at Base Calames. Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday but we are happy to receive enquiries for any duration of stay.

The house (aka Gite in French) accommodates up to 12 people in six bedrooms as follows: two twin rooms, and a double room upstairs; one double, one twin and a bunk room downstairs. There is a bathroom and separate toilet on both floors. An open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area with balcony, wood burning stove and mountain views provides the main living area. The dining table extends to seat up to 12 and the kitchen is well equipped, and includes a dishwasher.

The lounge area has comfortable seating, a TV, DVD & HIFI and free WIFI coverage throughout the house. There are boardgames, books and magazines, and DVDs for inside entertainment.

Downstairs is a double garage ideal for secure storage of bikes and other outdoor equipment. There is also a second fridge & freezer, washing machine and a selection of outdoor toys and games as well as a football table.

Outside there is a patio area with seating, a separate barbecue area with 2 large picnic tables, and a spacious garden to explore.

Bedding and towels are included in the price, although guests should bring their own towels for trips to the lakes/pools etc. Guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy at the end of their stay or they can arrange cleaning with us.
